Nike's on My FEET

Wow, I am awful for not posting on this thing, but hey, fashion blogging, working full time and sleeping takes up more time then you expect! Anyway, yes, I am working full time AT A MATERNITY STORE! Yes, they exist, but WOW, there is so much you don't know about being pregnant and being a woman and children and husbands and wedding rings and horemones, oh, don't get me started! However, as scary as it is to do some of the things I have to do, it's a really amazing job. I get to hang out with amazing staff and watch new mothers gush and gawk over their beautiful babies and tell me funny stories about being a new mother. Of course you get the crying mothers and nervous looking fathers, but this is a big moment in their lives, it's amazing to see the joy on their faces when they hold their children, it's truly a miracle and a gift from God.

I am doing well, I don't have much time to go shopping really, I only have two days off, so when I get a chance to be out of the boutique I am in a coffee shop, extra large coffee in hand and my Mac at my side. You know me, always writing! I love, it, it's truly become my passion and weather I end up writing for my own fashion blog or traveling the world i'll do it with a smile on my face! Fashion is one of those things that I never grew up with back at home, I mean how many people do you encounter in a day who could list 5 of the worlds most famous designers, how many men wear suits on a regular basis because it's "stylish?" I know right!

Life is strange I must say, one minute you're sitting on a beach with a Vogue in hand and the next you're plunking away in your apartment across the country. I never thought that I would make it over to Toronto, and to tell you the truth, it's not half bad over here! Sure there are pleanty of cooky men and crazy ladies, but really the Big City is starting to feel like a home. Although making my way from Spadina to Danforth has become a regular root for me, I still get lost with my compass directions! Never Eat Soggy Wieners doesn't quite work here! :D I digress, I know that my house is W end... oh wait, nope, I think it's east ... *sigh

Anyway, I am going to watch a few episodes of "How I Met your Mother" and eat peanuts and avocado and crackers, I know, jealous, right!
